In class: instructions
Lesson 13 of 13≈ 10 min
A very simple imperative
In the 2nd person singular, the imperative is the bare root: soma! (read!), himba! (sing!), ketsi! (sit down!). Classroom instructions are full of them.
This lesson follows the list of instructions in the Nisusoma shimaore booklet (CASNAV, 2019, pp. 43 and 53), written for teachers welcoming Mahoran pupils.
